My family has just moved into a new house, so I went thrifting for some furniture for my room. I nabbed this cool office chair for $10, but the fabric was dirty, old, and an ugly poop yellow color. It had to go.

This was my first reupholster, and it's not perfect, but I'm really happy with the result.

Okay, so I know this post is about 3 months late, but bear with me  . For this past Halloween my boyfriend and I decided to be Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage.

Regular old scotch tape. It held up pretty well hahah.

How did you like the cluster fluff? A friend of mine just gave me a bag of it that he didn't use for a project, but I haven't had a chance to try it. It seems nice and squishy, though.

Well, I'm no expert on stuffing, but it worked out alright for me. It's the only kind I've used and despite my thoughts, it was easy to stuff. And you're right, it is nice and squishy. I wouldn't recommend it for firmer projects though.

My cousin is due to have her baby soon this month, so I wanted to make little Eleanor Elizabeth a "welcome to the world!" gift.

This was my first attempt ever at making a stuffed toy. It's made with really soft fleece and cotton fabric and is stuffed with Cluster Stuff. The nose and mouth are hand stitched, as well as part of the left eye. My sewing machine decided to go wonky on me halfway through the eye so it's kind of messy.

If you're worried about your booty popping out you could wear tights or leggings. Won't be as bad.

Dude. This is insane. This is the first project I've seen on here in a while that has really really impressed me enough to make me want to post how impressed I really am. My best friend's dad died a few months ago, & I think the hat that gets to me most is the False Cheerfulness one. She's being strong, & I know she's still hurting but she exudes her normal self most of the time.

Anyway, amazing job. Really remarkable. Thanks so much for sharing!

I'd been working on this on & off over the past two months I would say, & just finished it this morning (hence the I-just-woke-up look). It took exactly one skein of Lion Brand Microspun; I literally was left with about 2 inches of yarn after fastening off. No pattern, completely winged, & happy with the outcome.
