Oh that's an interesting topic ... I have just purchased the book and made the nursing pillow yesterday. Yours looks gorgeous, I love that fabric, have used it for baby blankets. Anyway this is how I landed on this forum because I posted a message earlier on - it says in the book that the nursing pillow is washable. So I put mine in the washing machine yesterday at 40°. Within 5 minutes the seams had opened and a sea of polyester filling was swimming around in the washing machine   

Have you washed yours? Any idea what I could have done wrong?

Haven't started any other projects from the book yet, didn't have any problems MAKING this one, just the washing ....

I made a pillow which has just the polyester filling yesterday. Apparently you can wash the whole pillow so yesterday I stuck it in the washing machine at 40° but to my horror within 10 minutes the seams had opened and the machine was full of filling ....... what did I do wrong?
