Would anyone be interested in an Adam Sandler swap??
I'm a huge fan. I love all the silly movies like Billy Madison, Wedding Singer, etc etc and of course all of his stuff on Saturday Night Live. I've been seeing all these great snarky cross-stitches lately and I think that would fit this idea perfectly! We could also do stuffies, favorite quotes, items from the movies (Snack Pack anybody??) and any number of other possibilities. And this includes all of his movies of course, like Eight Crazy Nights, Mr. Deeds, Spanglish, etc etc etc
I could probably host (my first time!!) but it wouldn't be until after the new year.
Received my crocheting kit from craft addiction! I requested to learn how to crochet in the round to make things like hats and amis. I'm currently stuck at chain stitch
A wonderful stack of how-tos, a dvd of videos that I can't wait to watch, needles, hooks, stitch markers, an electronic counter (I have a feeling that this will come in VERY handy ) and a lovely blue hat! And a lovely stash of yarn! The red is so soft and nice, and craftaddiction raided her own stash for me. How sweet!
Thank you so much! I can't wait to get started on the amigurumi ball. Thanks for organizing a cool swap, too!
The books you made are so lovely and perfect, and I adore the ring and extra petals you sent for me to craft with. You are also an amazing artist and it was such a pleasure being partnered with you.
::blushes:: thanks so much, that's so sweet! I have a couple pictures I remembered to take before I sent...
This was a rose from my flowerbed! The leather is part of a collection of scraps from the shop of a cool dude who makes Indian shirts and moccasins, of which I would someday like to own a pair... ($300 and gorgeous!)
I am a recent convert of the rub-on! I know that sounds dirty, but Michael's has these great vintage-y ones right now. nessie said she likes birdcages.
I like putting tiny pictures of things by rulers...I don't know why but I think it's funny
Ring! Got lucky and found a little bead shop where the lady sells cool filigree pieces...I need to go buy her whole supply
This gallery is freakin' awesome! Can't wait to see the rest.
It was my tiny book from Nessie! It gives a new definition to the word "tiny." Check it out!
Isn't it amazing? So tiny, so gorgeous, and so artistic. I love how it tells a story...Vanessa, please use these pics to make a post for this project so I can hit "this rocks!"
And she spoiled me with a ton of very lovely extras as well:
Awesome peacock feather and flower hairclips (from my wist!) and wonderful jewelry findings, paper art, beads, and watch parts!
Beautiful box and card too.
Thank you Vanessa, for such a wonderful, amazing, creative package. You are an amazing artist.
Craftster is officially the best discovery I've made IN MY ENTIRE LIFE
And now for your viewing pleasure, a lovely collection of jewelry crafted by the wonderful crafty gurll...
And the lovely sugar skull packaging it arrived in!
Gorgeous fused glass pendants, glazed clay pendants, charms made from a 100 year-old dictionary, lovely brooches for my hats and jackets, beautiful rings which I've already gotten compliments on, and pretty bobby pins. Thanks for sharing your Aunt's vintage buttons with me I love everything, especially rock star Conan!!. The box is amazing too, and I love the sugar skully bag everything came in. Thanks so much! Your package is on its way...hope you enjoy it just as much.
Calluna sent me an enormous package chock full of wonderful paper goodies. I'll only post a few big photos and the rest thumbnails--I seriously got a ton of wonderful stuff.
Cool red Chinese envelope and my favorite--Teeny punched out crabs!!
HUGE assortment of vintage photos, stamps, cutouts, and other awesome stuff.
Cool stamps, photo with metal daisy, glittery papercraft creations, vintage labels, and a playbill reproduction.
Metal rivets, beads, and plates, buttons, a bag of fabric scraps and trim, and more cool photos.
Vintage photos from calendars, children's book, skeletonized leaves, and silver leaf! Awesome!!
Thanks so so much, Heather! I'll have to buy a new box to sort all this stuff into...yay, shopping....
OTAY! I received an awesome headband from mymissmai today!
It's a gorgeous blue crocheted headband with an oyster on top and a cute little pearl peeking out!
The pearl even has a little face! This is so cute! Mai did an awesome job with my nautical theme--this is so unique and quirky. Thanks a ton!
An utterly gorgeous flower headband from our awesome organizer, CleanFeelin:
Love the shimmery colors and the iridescent beads in the middle. Thanks, Colleen!
An amazing wire-wrapped bead headband from edenkitty:
Freshwater pearls and jasper! So beautiful...I love it, Eden.
And a lovely vintage fascinator-inspired headband from shortern:
I love the colors and style, and I think it looks a bit like an adorable fried egg! The size is perfect too...thanks a ton Erin!
I'm SO GLAD I joined this swap...these headbands are so much more unique and my taste than anything I could ever buy. I hope my partners like mine as much.
