Wow. I have a real problem keeping away from the key lime pie. My only salvation was that I didn't know how to make it.... With great knowledge comes great responsibility, I guess. I never would have guessed it was this easy! Thank you!

May I be the first to offer my kudos? This is an awesomely imaginative costume and well executed. Bravo! The engineers just don't get it -- their loss.

HOLY HELL! Your images look amazing! And delicious. I will refrain from licking the monitor, but I sense these are in my near future. Again, great camera work! Not that mediocre images on craftster aren't part of the fun, but I think it really makes it stand out.
10  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: newbie photographer would like your thoughts on: August 15, 2011 08:31:28 AM
One suggestion: Get closer or change your position relative to your subject so that the backgrounds of your shots are less cluttered and the subject more apparent. For instance, if you got closer on the last shot, the bricks and fencing would not appear in the shot, apparently for no reason, and the little orange flower is easily missed when the yellow is so prominent. I think getting closer would help. Also, you title the second image as if the water droplets are your subject, but the most impressive thing about the image to me is the awesome woodwork of the structure! By focusing closely on the water, viewers would not be distracted by competing subjects. Same with the first image. The dominant feature of the photo is the trees (focus!). There are a lot of online resources that you might be interested in looking at. I'd suggest the Digital Photography School: http://www.digital-photography-school.com/ Good luck and happy learning!
