1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Fairy Furniture on: November 26, 2010 09:11:19 PM
These are so lovely it breaks my heart to think there may not be fairies to sit in them....and then I get to the last pic and HOORAY! There are fairies ( I knew it all along  Wink )

Your art is so lovely. Thank you so much for sharing.

I just bought my daughter a doll house & this makes me wish we had simply used what we have in our backyard & in our imagination. This would really raise Polly Pocket to a new level.  Grin

I always save the funny papers to wrap birthday gifts but this is like a trillion times better. And more thoughtful. Thnx for the tute; now I've got to find the nifty grommet thingy Grin

I live outside of Dublin and meeting people is so HARD, well, the one's who I want to meet that is Wink
(If you live here you get it)

I'm on Craftster wishing my heart out that I knew how to sew & crochet. Is there anyone out there who wants to get together for some crafty quality time?

I even contacted the local Recreation Dept to request they put together a class; the sweet lady said no one would come  Cry
4  Georgia / Georgia: Southwest / Re: Anybody live near Macon? on: March 23, 2010 08:39:25 PM
I live in Dublin! About 45 min. from Macon and Warner Robins. Not much going on down here either.
OMG! Fellow Craftster in Dublin? Hate to repeat myself but uh, OMG! And here I thought I was all alone.

Oh, and for everyone complaining their town is boring or a bit removed....I live in Cadwell. One blinking light. If we only had a horse, it would be a one horse town.
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Some of my plushies...(somewhat img heavy) on: March 21, 2010 08:59:26 AM
No, I seriously don't like them. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THEM! What great twist on a baby doll. I love how your mind works  Wink
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Aww, I'm a Kitty! (pattern) on: March 21, 2010 08:53:11 AM

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: mmm Coffee.... on: March 03, 2010 07:30:48 PM
I am so doing this!
As for what to do with it.....a cozy for your coffee can?  Or even less labor, use one of those magnetic frames to put it on the can or fridge....tack in on the inside of a kitchen cabinet door as fun peek a boo art
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Anger Management 101 on: March 03, 2010 07:23:11 PM
Oh, my...This piece speaks to me.

I hate to sound bitter, but, well, I am. So here goes.  My uncle just passed; he had not spoken to me in yeeeaaaarrrrrsss b/c he did not approve of some choices I have made with my life. I shrug; confident that my choices are just that: mine. And therefore right for me and he could well get over it or die mad. So he did.

Anyway, sorry for the TMI but I am hoping you will give me the the chance to rip off your originality. I've been doodling with embroidery lately but need some guidance to pull this off. I think this project would be a fitting way for me to pay homage to the whole mess and give me some of that much touted 'closure'.

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: I celebrate :) on: February 28, 2010 06:44:08 AM
I am so jealous! The skirts are great; I adore the ruffle - very flattering. The color of the fauxlamb is fab, very lux; and that hight waist makes you look svelte-licios.
And where, oh, where did you find such great heels?

How does the whole world know how to sew except me? Was I absent that day?
