11  Re: Woodland Creature Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by rjannelle on: July 26, 2010 02:08:03 PM
Finally! I'm so sorry this took so long .. I finally had time to post the pictures, and discovered my internet was down Sad

I love everything .. made for me Smiley I really liked how everything she made wasn't necessarily something I'd think of making for myself, or could make for myself!

First, the card and envelope she sent with the package. I love the owl stamps!

She made me some really pretty note cards as well!

I think she picked up on the fact that I love trees? lol! I even have one tattooed on my ankle! This picture will be going up in my new apartment for sure!

I need to learn how to make stamps. I love this!

Some charms for my jewellery making. I can't wait to use them!

I love the tiny felt deer and bird Cheesy I've made big deer before but I really like how super small this one is.

Last but not least! Some printed pillow cases. The wolves are awesome, I can't wait to use them in my new place!

Thanks so much for everything! Cheesy This was an amazing swap!

12  Treasure Island Charm Bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by rjannelle on: June 10, 2010 09:22:15 PM
For the loaded charm bracelet swap rd. 2, I made my partner a Treasure Island themed bracelet. I used lost of white and grey pearls, along with shell and white cracked glass. The charms were a compas, a sea bird, a picture of a parrot, I big jewel, a treasure chest, a bottle filled with glass and shells, a locket, a picture frame, a treasure map that says "property of Davy Jones" on the back, and a pirate ship. The clasp was a lock and key. I like the way it turned out and I think I'll have to make myself one in the future! C&C welcome!

14  Re: CLOSED! Loaded Charm Bracelet Rnd 2! send 5/21 in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by rjannelle on: April 29, 2010 12:34:36 AM
Hey everyone!
I just thought I'd share my latest creation Smiley I've been working on it since the first LCB swap Tongue I had some trouble with the split rings I bought (and by trouble I actually mean torture). Hope you enjoy! I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

15  Magic forest loaded charm bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by rjannelle on: April 29, 2010 12:30:30 AM
After seeing all the amazing loaded charm bracelets in the first LCB swap, I had to make my own! It went pretty well for my first try, although the split rings I used were torture, and I ended up scrapping the first piece of chain I was going to use (it was too small). I like the way it looks, but next time I want to add more beads. C & C appreciated!

In action!

Just for fun, a little bracelet I made with some of the same beads.

Thanks for looking!

16  New Tree of Life Pendants in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by rjannelle on: April 29, 2010 12:23:47 AM
I had to try the tree of life pendant out for myself. It was actually really easy and, dare I say, fun to make!
My versions were inspired (or, well, copied) from pheonixfiredesigns. Her jewellery is amazing!

Inspiration can be found here:

Pictures just don't do the next one justice! The irridescence of the beads is hard to capture.

18  College and miscellaneous art projects! Slightly picture heavy in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by rjannelle on: April 23, 2010 03:03:06 AM
Hey again! I'm sorry for spamming you guys with my stuff. My laptop is really slow, so I like to get all my posting done at once if I can! I was in a drawing class in college last year, so here are some of my favorite projects, with some random ones thrown in. I hope everyone looks at the last pictures because I personally think they are some of my best! Thanks!

My favorite! Done in white chalk. I thought it would be cool to step away from charcoal and use the same techniques with a different material. I did a series of 4 photos representing the 4 elements. I just don't have earth uploaded. Element: water

2nd photo in series. Charcoal, element: fire.

Charcoal, element: air.

Unfinished rock circus elephant. I should finish this...

Zombie portrait of a friend and her boyfriend. The heart and text are off center  Angry

Copy of Luis Royo painting I did for a customer at the tattoo shop I used to apprentice at.

Dragon from an incense box or something... done at the shop.

Close up of face

Thanks so much for looking! C&C much appreciated!

20  Unfinished Tree Nymph painting, possibly mature content... in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by rjannelle on: April 23, 2010 02:38:36 AM
I'm not sure how to post the warning sign thing :S So I just have the text for now. lol sorry guys!

*EDIT* Hehe.. I just realized I posted this in "Completed Works". I hope no one minds that it's unfinished...
I started working on this painting a few years ago, and I haven't quite finished it. I couldn't quite get the lighting right so here are two pictures. It's inspired by a picture done digitally (I have no idea what program it was done in, possibly photoshop?) that I found years ago on deviantart. I would post the link but I'm not quite sure where it is and my computer is so slow! If I find it again I will post it. Anyways! C&C appreciated!
