1  Sunflower, daisy nd Rose flower cupcakes in Dessert by charityandrum on: February 20, 2012 11:18:55 PM

With buttercream and marzipan flowers. I made the sunflower petals by creating flat disc of marzipan and then using a pair of scissors to cut thin petals and then fraying them slightly

I just wish I had a better camera as I got a really good mint green for the buttercream, and sorry they are a bit battered in transit in this photo, but there was a power cut at home just after they were finished, so I had no excuse other than to take them to the pub Smiley

2  My first (undead) sock monkey in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by charityandrum on: February 20, 2012 11:10:25 PM

I'm not usually a big sewer but I thought I'd try my hand at making one of these guys. I think his legs are a little frumpy though, any suggestions? or do i just have to stop being so miserly with the stuffing (although it didn't seem right to overstuff a skeleton!)

thanks Smiley
