Cherry_Blossom55 and I went craft supply hunting and thrifting together today. We had great fun.

Also. Damn I wish I could get Redvines. And Squirt for that matter.

THIS IS GOING TO BE TOTALLY AWESOME! I am so getting on this right now! *Starts stalking*

I know birdak pretty well if you want some inside info Wink You know, so you can keep things a surprise for her.

I'm so pleased to be paired with our first time swapper daisysinherhair! I'll make your foray into the swap-verse awesome, I promise Smiley

Same goes to you daisysinherhair - I know cherryblossom really well, so if you want some sneaky insider info feel free to PM me in order to get a leg up on your first swap.

Also - I am so unbelievably stoked. And I think you did a great job partnering SKooKum, my partner and I are pretty pleased we can cut down on shipping because we live in the same city!

Hey everyone!!

I just got my package from amc- in the mail today!!
My roommate was home when it arrived - and she's been as excited as I am to see all of the stuff amc sent me - and she texted me right away "There's a package here for you from a very tired owl"

Needless to say I could hardly wait to get home from class tonight.

Sorry it's a bit pic heavy.

SO, This is what was sitting and waiting for me when I got home. Super Cute owl drawing on the outside of my box.

And when I opened the box there were all the packages wrapped up so nice!

First package I opened was the one marked edible. Couldn't help myself.
Inside was a box of REALLY FRIGGIN DELICIOUS (ask my roommate -she'll vouch for that) Magical Chocolate Broomsticks!!

Then a SUPER AWESOME ( seriously really good idea) Deathly Hallows Book Handbag!!

and from the side. Honestly this thing is really cool.

Next was the first of three TOTALLY AWESOME wearables
amc-'s description of this one : Harry kept calm and conjured a patronus. An awesome take on a poster I had in my wist.
The front ( with me in it )

the back

Then the second t-shirt which I really really like. I put it on right away haha.

Finally the last wearable which I think is my favourite thing out of everything is this SUPER AWESOME Ron sweater that is a version of one from my wist. (This one is way cuter than the wist one too. So great)

I also got a bag of Bertie Botts (which my roommate and I have happily already delved into. MUST SAVE SOME FOR THE MOVIE)

So Here's the final overview!
It gives you a better look at some of the totally awesome stuff amc- made for me.
What a great first swap for me. Can't believe how awesome everything is.

oh man.. so i got some time tonight to work for a few hours on my game.  its taking forever.. but im really pleased with the results so far.   Its a long step one, and im reaaaaalllly hoping step two works out okay otherwise all these hours of work for step one will be null and void. fingers crossed people.

I also got some time a while ago, and i finished the long and arduous step one of the wearable as well and im really pleased with it..  i've started step two and im sort of liking how its turning out - sort of not.. I'm a novice when it comes to sewing still so it's definitely a learning process.. but im having fun anyway, and i'll pull it together in time for send outs for sure.

i still need to start on the packaging for my edible! its the most important part... i just cant decide to do it ________, or _________. Such a hard choice!!

Plus i've got a fun extra that needs making! It's gonna be so ______ and ______ and im gonna want one too. I know it.

I finally got a chance to do some extended crafting! Picked up some (MORE) supplies today, and got my wearable about 65-75% done. Whee!! And I've got my one accessory started .. It might classify as my large.. it's a lot of work. Does it still count as a large if the final product itself isn't terribly big but the amount of work put in is enormous? I think I'll ask my professor about the specifics..   plus I've got some wonderful things in the works for the spoilage amc and i agreed on.     My edible is further off, but I do have some grand plans for it too.    *Rubs hands together in an excited manner* So fun.
