1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Wallet for my son on: April 07, 2012 04:36:27 AM
My son asked me to make him a wallet.. He's 24 and it made me happy that he would want something home made from me! I had some vintage Mario Brother's fabric from early 80's and then used a tutorial found here.

I added a piece of Velcro. He loved it!

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My checkbook wallet clutch on: March 11, 2012 06:56:44 AM
This is my first time posting here so I hope this works!

I made this wallet wanting a checkbook style wallet , but I don't use my checkbook often but wanted to carry it with me just in case. This is my own pattern. I put a detachable handle on it so I can just grab it and go for short trips to town.

It has room inside for cards and money or a phone.
Outside it holds the checkbook and receipts.

You can view more about it on my blog www.appleheadthreads.com
