My son asked me to make him a wallet.. He's 24 and it made me happy that he would want something home made from me! I had some vintage Mario Brother's fabric from early 80's and then used a tutorial found here.

I made this wallet wanting a checkbook style wallet , but I don't use my checkbook often but wanted to carry it with me just in case. This is my own pattern. I put a detachable handle on it so I can just grab it and go for short trips to town.



It has room inside for cards and money or a phone.
Outside it holds the checkbook and receipts.

i got confused on the handle part to connect the ends.. but ended up doing it my way lol i saw a vid of one demonstrated by martha stewart so the next one i'll try that .anyone else has a different pattern to share?? but anywhoo.... this bag holds alot and easy to carry!!

hi everyone. i'm just a little country girl that loves to sew. I recently quit my job for medical reasons, and have picked up my sewing habit again! i love to browse through this site to get ideas.. i want to post pics of things ive done soon. but getting the feel of this first hope to make some craftster friends!.. suzee. oh forgot.. i noticed alot of ppl that make tags for their projects. i came up with a name for my projects but would i have to "copyright" it ?? or just put them on there? lol im not good with words.. ugh.
