81  Re: Ziploc Doodad Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by lucy van pelt on: July 06, 2005 04:14:55 PM
I got some great stuff from emma bo bemma - some of the cutest little teensy tiny things imaginable. Not everything is shown here, b/c some of it is at work - a cute heart-shaped tiny picture frame, a little pockt mirror (thanks - I needed that - I've been touching up my lipstick at my desk using the back of an old CD); a bandanna with worry dolls; a tiny gumball machine and a cute hand-painted purple (yay!) wooden trinket box; and a bouncy ball that my cat Spooky goes nuts over. THANKS EMMA! (sorry for the poor scan - my camera's on hiatus)

it looks like the scissors are slicing right into the alien, doesn't it? hehe - totally unplanned - Roswell 1947!!!!!!

Woo-hoo! Carolina did an AMAZING job! Sorry, but I had to scan the stuff, but, like a ding-dong, I loaned my camera to a friend...

Not everything is shown...she sent some things in a little zip pouch which I didn't have room to show; there are two perfectly-sized pair of earrings (I'm wearing one now) plus some tea lite candles and a little beaded candle holder. I especially LOVE the Beatles buttons (wish I could draw like that!) and I wore the LUCY buttons on my shirt to a baseball game yesterday...perfect!

Carolina, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Everything is great!
Now, Poppet will get hers very soon..... Grin

84  Skulls! Skulls! in What the heck can I do with THIS? by lucy van pelt on: May 22, 2005 06:38:52 AM
We found a pack of plastic Halloween skulls for 25c at our local thrift shop.  We've since recovered them from the closet, thank you, and now need YOUR inspiration as to what we can do with them! They are non-threatening, green, orange, and soft rubbery plastic, and they are in desperate need of attention. E-mail your crafty ideas to thriftgoddess2004@yahoo.com, and the winner of the best idea will receive a small gift as a token of gratitude from the Thriftgoddess herself; not to mention the skulls will get a new home based on your idea! Thanks!  ~ Lucy
