2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Need Ideas(What to make with these beads-some wooden & some pearl beads) on: April 22, 2012 03:20:49 AM
Hello everyone  Smiley

I have some beads-lots of colourful wooden beads and lots of pearl beads(in three different sizes) but I am not sure what to make with them.Ideally I would like to make some cool jewellery/accessories with them.I am specially stuck with the pearl beads since I am not really into pearls and they feel really feminine and I don't think I can carry them off too well. But they are so pretty I don't feel like wasting them.
So I would love it if anybody could help me out with some ideas/suggestions etc  Smiley
Here is the picture of the beads

7  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: A buttload of old t shirts on: January 19, 2010 02:05:24 AM
u could use them to make funky cushion covers

cut the t shirt from below the sleeves so that u get a rectangular shape

measure the cushion u wanna use n if the rectangular piece is longer then cut out the excess from the bottom

similarly if the breadth of the cushion is less than the t shirt,u'll need to tighten the side seams

then stitch the bottom portion n the opening of the cushion cover could be at the top....secure the opening
either with a zipper or velcro
