those ornaments are absolutely beautiful!

 a couple of weeks ago my wallet got lost in the trash (long story) so i decided to make one out of the TONS of vintage fabric that my mom sent me. i was a bit impatient the day i made it so it's not the best, but i'm happy with how it turned out.

i just started sewing...i've only done simple pillows and pajama pants until now. for the fabric, i used some vintage pillowcases that i had lying around. here's a pic.

this one's weird, but i consider "grass" by animal collective kind of romantic haha

on the votive- yeah, i just covered it with a little "lip" of clay around the top and baked. since the candle holder was glass, it worked just fine and the clay hasn't fallen off yet...

i was in halloween mode so made the skull and two other beads

i was just talking to a friend about this tonight and he said that he actually tried it....and it worked-ish. he said to put something between the front and back of the shirt/tank and leave the heat on longer and with more pressure than you normally would. he said the image was a bit distorted and cracked, etc....but ya know, i'm thinking i might try it. i've seen ribbed tanks at maurices with cracked images that they sell for $16
