1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Viking Emerald 122? on: August 26, 2010 09:28:47 PM
Hi everyone,

I bought a Emerald 122 few years ago. Sew a few things than, a ball, baby sling, and a diaper after that I put it away for quite a while. We moved and I lost all of my papers from it. I know it didnt have the manual when I purchased it.

Well I started sewing again and LOVE it. I sew a handful of times and took it out to sew a skirt for my daughter and it would not start.

The light comes but when I press the foot controller nothing happens, no noise, nothing. My husband is sure the foot controller needs to be replaced but could there be something else, he is a good electrician and mechanic so he took the foot controller apart measured with his meter and thinks there is more than just the foot controller broke. Sad

I am so unhappy, I had an old Brother but I took it to my in-laws and now I cant sew Sad Sad

TIA
