My sister just moved into her first apartment and I put together a housewarming 'kit'.  My family's always been pretty big on cloth napkins (you know, save paper... pretty fabrics) so I thought I'd make her some classy beaded napkin rings. 

They actually were perfect for weeding out some of my random solo beads.

So here are two shirts that I stencilled for my boyfriend's birthday. 
The first is from a Shins EP:





This shirt is a stencil of these weird little doodles that Jeff Mangum, who's the lead singer of Neutral Milk Hotel, drew with the lyrics from "Aeroplane over the Sea"

So because I'm super duper lazy about posting, no one on here ever gets to see my earrings and I end up making at least one new pair a day!

has anyone else noticed what a blackhole of money spending beading can be? I feel kind of silly selling them and I just end up giving all of mine away because I'm silly like that.

these were made from some shell that I found in Corsica, my brother then cut it in the shape that I wanted because he's handy like that


and finally here's another necklace I made, sorry the pictures are so unclear.


It's made from two strands of those pinkish glass beads and then a piece of scalloped pink/purplish sea glass wrapped in s.s. wire





I wish the pictures were better so that you guys could see what a wicked cool piece of seaglass it is, I did a really happy dance when I found it last summer.
Well, if anyone's made it this far, you've just replaced Chuck Norris as my number 1 hero. hahaha, thanks and let me know what you think!

So I made this necklace when my boyfriend and I were watching this huge marathon of Monty Python's Flying Circus, live. It was excellent to say the least.

anyways, the necklace has 22 strands (oi vey!) and little cone thingies at the clasp to make it look pretty.

So me and my friends are kind of obsessed with Cold War history and with communist leaders soo...currently we're working on a commie leader of the day t shirt collection (i.e. Mao Monday, Trotsky Tuesday, etc.)

anyways, I got the idea for this shirt during one of our study sessions for my IB HL History exam

It says "I've got Marx on my shirt"  and has a picture of Karl Marx.

The stencil looks a little wonky because of my boobs, sorry.







Oh and I'm holding my Communist Manifesto by Marx himself. haha, I'm a loser

So I sewed and came up with this stencil myself. I'm pretty happy with it.
It's an angel with lilies at her feet and a banner that says "Freedom".
