that's sooo cute! You picked the perfect fabric too, it looks just like scales!
Nice job

ohhh! I love this! It's so classy and perfect for spring!
There's something about the shape that I absolutely adore!

I was wondering what the closure is like, is there a zipper or snaps?

yay! Thanks for all of the super positive feedback everyone! I really appreciate it! And I'm really pumped to see more people getting into Neutral Milk Hotel; Jeff Magnum is a lyrical genius.

Here's another band everyone should check out: Shout Out Louds! They're a wicked Canadian band with a couple fantastic songs (I love "Tonight I have to leave it")!

Happy crafting while listening!

Ooo...an indie band inspired swap would be so much fun!
actually nandasaboia, cutting out the letters wasn't too bad for the Neutral Milk Hotel post.  Definitely finicky but I feel like the temporary insane X-acto cutting blindness was worth it.

This is fantastic! All of these comments are seriously just reaffirming my opinion that craftiness is positively correllated with good music taste.  If any of you are working on some wicked indie band shirts, pleeeaaase post them because I would love to see!
Keep exercising those ears!

Thanks you guys for all the wonderful comments!  I also love hearing from other indie fans.  Sadly, I was mistaken about NMH coming out with another album.  It seems like Jeff Magnum is still stuck in his little hole...but if some bands you guys might like would be Wolf Parade, the Decemberists, Apostle of Hustle, Broken Social Scene, New Pornographers...che ck them out!

ohhh man!
I LOVE the Decemberists a lot.  Awesome shirt, it looks positively wicked!

Those are absolutely beautiful!  And I'm sure that your husband loves being able to help you do something that you obviously love so much!

Thank you all soo much for your comments!  And the nice thing about the wood pair Altoid is that the coral and wood make them insanely light!
10  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: You've got your skin tights, colours on the floor! on: November 11, 2007 06:11:12 PM
These seriously are soo wicked! I'd totally rock out to the Strokes or Kooks wearing those.
