1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Miyazaki-san Movie Swap (Spirited Away; Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo) on: April 18, 2010 03:54:19 AM

As for when and how big, I'm not sure, --I'm not qualified yet to organize. But I'd imagine that signups would be late may at the very earliest? and I'd love it if it were a big swap, one lg, one med, and 3 smalls?  Something of that nature? I dunno. Cheesy

Anyone wanna organize?  =D

Oooh!  I was reading through thinking...oh, bummer...timing...and then I saw late Mayish!  I can do this if it happens!  Yay!

Looks like it is going to be awesome!  =)

Kittymom I really like how you did the corners/sides on that blanket!  Are you doing that again this time?

OoooooOoooh!  Lady I love the color combinations you are using!  The black border really makes the colors jump off the squares.  =)

I like yours too, Pink Hippo...especially the variegated one.  What's a Haekelbeutel?

I'm thinking I might go down a needle size or two for my squares...they're coming out much more lacy than the ones you guys are making and I like how the more dense squares look.

Dude.

I am really dense.

I *just* got that these were a special kind of balloon this morning.

For three days I was trying to understand why these things were so awesome.

Oy.

Now I know.   Smiley

I'm doing the granny-a-day for April and decided to do a different square each day from the 200 Crochet Blocks book.  I could do two CALs at the same time!  =)

I'm doing that too.  Wink

Awesome!

I'm going to make the squares y'all have done already so I can catch up.  =)

Mister Linky is up!

I just finished my Saturday Squares blog post:  http://www.knittinandnoodlin.com/2010/04/saturday-granny-squares/!

So if you're blogging your squares and you want to visit and link your blog post, that would be awesome!  =)

Whee!

I'm 3 for 3 so far...good thing I got an early start, though.  =)

Here they are:

Corner Granny

Dahlia

Sunray

They're all from 200 Crochet Blocks.  =)  I'm using Paton's Classic Wool in these three colors for the whole month since this is going to be a blanket for the soon-to-be-here wee one.

They reallllly need to be blocked so the yarn can bloom and so they can turn into...um...actual squares.
