Hm... I haven't done a swap in a loooong time. This might be the one to bring me back...
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Sailor Moon Inspired Earrings/Necklaces on: November 13, 2012 04:10:41 AM
These are fantastic! I love sailor moon and I think you captured the idea perfectly. Great concept  Grin
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Friendship Granny Square Swap - reboot? on: September 23, 2012 04:30:26 PM
I would be in! I think I did round 1 of this and then it looks like there were a bunch more rounds!

The last one that is showing up on my swap list is labeled as round 10!

4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Re: does anyone know how to make a wax seal? on: September 23, 2012 06:01:15 AM
I found this on pinterest a while ago. You'd need woodburning stuff, but you can get that pretty easily.

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Friendship Granny Square Swap - reboot? on: September 21, 2012 09:36:07 AM

Is anyone up for some more of this? The last round I participated in was back in 2009 and I don't know if there have been more since then. Everyone makes four 8 inch squares out of worsted acrylic yarn (in their partner's color preferences) and swaps. Eventually we all have an awesome blanket/throw/whatever that was created by people from all around the world! The blanket pictured is the one that I eventually put together, all I did was crochet them together Cheesy

Lets get this going again! I believe there was one round a month. Four 8 inch squares can be made in no time!
6  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Overnight Oatmeal on: April 23, 2012 04:18:21 PM
Yum! I've been doing this for a few months now. I love having breakfast ready for me when I wake up. If I don't have yogurt, I'll mash half a banana to give it the thickness. I'll have to find some chia seeds eventually!
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: diy terrarium/ aquarium floor with mini tute (pic heavy) on: January 01, 2012 08:10:01 PM
Bella has eyesight issues too.

I was lucky enough to find a good reptile vet (after going to one an hour away and having him be useless...) The advice she gave really helped my Drake. She said to keep the humidity up in the enclosure and as long as it stays up around 60-80%, Drake can see pretty well. If it drops down, her eyes get all cloudy and stuck together.

Now I want to find a spare room for her to hang out in so I can tile the floor! Thanks for the great idea Smiley

Ooo! Looks awesome! I have a leopard gecko as well and I think she might like something like this. How long did it take before you could put them back in the tank?
Looks like this would be much easier to clean than sand or terrarium carpet (what I'm using now). She keeps biting the carpet when she tries to catch moving food (poor thing has a bit of an eye problem). I think she'd appreciate a smooth floor, haha.
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felt name book on: December 19, 2011 08:15:15 AM
So I saw all the amazing felt books that you craftsters had created and knew that was what I wanted to make for my niece's first christmas.

Here's what I came up with:

Front cover        L                    A                   C

E                    Y                    End

I had so much fun making this!

Great work! I knew it was Hibari just from the expression on his face, hehe. I especially like how Uri came out, so soft and cuddly!
