1  Re: Weekend Trick or Treat Swap 2016 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Whistley on: September 28, 2016 11:20:51 AM
I received from RaraAvis today and I was totally spoiled. She was totally thoughtful of my 4 kids and sent tons of candy so there was enough for all of them. Candy and stuffers aside, I am in awe of her crafty skills!

First, the tote:

I love the fabric and will be using this bag for the rest of fall.

The non-candy fillers:

The socks are so perfect and the ghost lights up and changes colors.

The candy:

Yummy, yummy, yummy! I especially love the Villain Jelly Bellies!

And without further ado, the crafted goodies:

I love the bats! I'm a Disney/Halloween mash up nut and these couldn't be more perfect! They have little strings to hang them up and they have found a home on my piano. Smiley And did you see the sweet little ghost earrings?! So cute.

Thank you RaraAvis! You made my day!

I love, love, love this little Carl from Up tsum hoop!

Seriously, Little Carl is my favorite!

There are also tsum stickers, address labels, and some cute shrink plastic tsums.

Thank you so so much Audio! I love it all!

Some super cute Halloweeny bracelets. The colors are great. I love them! My 4 kids have claimed theirs but the Mickey one is mine. Wink

Look how fun they are all together!

Day 2
A Hitchhiking Ghost vinyl sticker. Love it!

Day 3
A book of masks to color and wear. My kids are excited to have a monster party.

Day 4
A piece of Disney Halloween fabric. I'll definitely make good use of this.

Day 5
A fun wreath. I love the colors!

Day 6
Welcome Foolish Mortals! I love everything about this. I think it will sit atop my craft room door.

Day 7
A cute, rolly-polly bat!

Day 8
A positively perfect pumpkin man! I love him!

His bum has a magnet attached so he sits perfectly on my Halloween jar light.

There's a design your own Frankenstein, a funky Halloween hair tie, a fuse bead Mickey skull, a loom band bracelet, and some Haunted Mansion shrinky dinks.

Day 10
Oh you guys! It's a big FrankenMickey tsum tsum!

He is so awesome!

Day 11

8  Re: Disney & Pixar Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Whistley on: April 20, 2016 11:48:52 AM
I received from IsikkahJai today! She sent me 4 items. But first, this note gives a nod to Paperman. (I love the Pixar shorts!)

The first item is inspired by Brother Bear:

(My 9 year old daughter has claimed this and it's hanging in her room already. Smiley)

The second item is inspired by Kuzco of the Emperor's New Groove:

The third item is inspired by Robin Hood:

This was made by IsikkahJai's sister. It's hard to tell but the bead on the bow is a really cool blue. So neat!

The fourth, and my favorite, item is inspired by the Pixar Short Feast:

Winston! So cute eyeing up all that yummy food. Cheesy This hoop is going in a special spot on my hoopla wall. I love all the little details.

Thanks IsikkahJai! I love it all!

9  Re: Harry Potter Small Flat Rate Box Swap Gallery in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Whistley on: March 12, 2016 08:00:30 PM
My partner Treemoon had a hang up with the post office so she delivered half of the package on the send date. A refresher of what she made:

The items are for my 9 year old daughter who is reading Harry Potter for the first time and is totally a superfan now. She loved everything she received and has been patiently waiting for today - and Tremoon didn't disappoint.

Here's the rest of the goodies!

A pair of Deathly Hallows earrings. (She hasn't read that far yet but thinks they're really cool.)

A bookmark with a Deathly Hallows charm, the house colors, a lightning bolt charm, a poly clay letter and Neville's rememberall (My daughter likes Neville best.)

(Tilt your head.) A hand stitched Hogwarts ornament. I'm sure this won't make it to the tree, it's already on her wall. Cheesy

A broom necklace, a wand necklace, and a time turner necklace. My daughter is over the moon! She's already casting spells on all of us.

All the goodies together:

Thanks Treemoon! We have a happy Harry Potter fan in our house and I'd happily swap with you again!

10  Re: Harry Potter Small Flat Rate Box Swap Gallery in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Whistley on: February 23, 2016 08:34:14 AM
I know that my partner received because I watched her open it! Smiley I can't wait anymore so I'm posting pics of what I sent.

First, proof that it all fit in the box

A little extra because in person swapping has its advantages

Chocolate covered pretzel wands.

And a group shot

The first thing my 9 year old wanted to include was a Ravenclaw Prefect badge, so I made a felt one

Then my 9 year old made this, a Ravenclaw braid for Treemoon to wear in her hair

Next, a wand

Not too fancy but it sparkles!

A Maurader's map just because (Just printed and folded)

A Lumos/Nox light switch plate

An owl post bookmark

A snitch bracelet in a scrap pouch

Because everything had been so little I had to think bigger, so I made
A small covered box

The last one has the snitch bracelet pouch inside.

Still thinking bigger, some Ravenclaw wrist warmers

(the picture is upside down. The stripes go on the wrists, below the thumbs.)

A Harry Potter knot bag with a starry inside:

And finally, a tiny Dobby (made from a pattern here on Craftster)

Sorry for the sideways pictures. Smiley
