Nope just acrylic...the protectant I use is just a brush on sealer...I cant remember the name but I buy it at michaels.

And yes, the images are all hand drawn! thank you!!

So you don't mix a fabric medium in with the paint?  What is the protectant seal, if I may ask?

And one last question -- do you trace the images onto the shoe first, or are you just wingin' it???  I am still in awe and IN LOVE with these shoes!!!

Wow, you did an amazing job! What did you use to paint these? Fabric paint? They look so smooth. I've tried painting my shoes with fabric paint but they looked really messy and rough.

In preparation for the new movie...I decided to paint a pair of Harry Potter shoes. With none other then Voldemort to balance him. I have been a huge fan of the books and movies for years now...can't wait to wear these when I go see the movie!!

I made a few things for my 4 yr. old sisters birthday party...She loved it of course...



I started out with two sheets of foam board and cut out the image of dora that I drew on them. Painted her and the backside, then used poster board in between the two pieces with some hot glue and elmers for the width and space for candy!



I think she turned out awesome!


He went crazy on it!!


I made her a cake as well...Mom and the girls helped with the cupcakes...Nick Jr. has printables to top the cupcakes...


Tablecloth needed something too...Dora and Boots it is...I was drawing dora and she wouldnt stop hounding me to draw boots!!

Thank you very much...I take alot of time and pride in painting shoes. These pair alone probably took 10hrs+ to create...
