2  Dora the explorer Party in Party Planning by Beeratear on: November 13, 2010 06:18:24 AM
I made a few things for my 4 yr. old sisters birthday party...She loved it of course...

I started out with two sheets of foam board and cut out the image of dora that I drew on them. Painted her and the backside, then used poster board in between the two pieces with some hot glue and elmers for the width and space for candy!

I think she turned out awesome!

He went crazy on it!!

I made her a cake as well...Mom and the girls helped with the cupcakes...Nick Jr. has printables to top the cupcakes...

Tablecloth needed something too...Dora and Boots it is...I was drawing dora and she wouldnt stop hounding me to draw boots!! Smiley

3  Mama's got 'Sole' in CHALLENGE 55 ENTRIES by Beeratear on: October 02, 2010 11:13:49 PM
I love painting shoes and instantly knew what I was doing for this challenge...mama on some shoes!

Started out with a plain white pair of shoes, applied a base coat, made a grid of mama and tediously measured and marked a grid on the shoes..after that is was slow smooth sailing with a very small brush to apply the paint...(sorry I don't have pics of the progress)

The grid I drew for the shoes...

And of course I had to try them on as soon as I finished with them!!

This is my first challenge and it was alot of fun...hope you like!
