So my favorite time of year is approaching and I wanted to celebrate with a bag.  I had this old belt and I used it in the bag because of the fall related colors...reminds me of the leaves.  The fabric is canvas and its 17 x 15.  I also made a smaller pouch to hold my keys, hand sanitizer and smaller things because I always lose them at the bottom of my purse.  Thank you for looking and comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I needed a new bag, and got inspired by some of the bags made here.  Im still pretty new to my sewing machine, but I gave it a try. After 2 broken needles, lots of frustration, and plenty of determination later, I came up with my new tote/diaper bag! I still need lots of work keeping my lines straight and hiding my edges, but I am happy with this result.  Any advice is more than welcome, and thank you for looking!

This is my first bag!  I just got a sewing machine this past Christmas, and still have lots to learn.  This bag is made out of a pair of pants (handles and top strip), and the rest if made from a tank top.  I couldn't wear either, but loved the colors.  Let me know what you think and thanks!

Hi, I'm Shay.  I LOVE this site.  I visit all of the time and finally decided to make a space.  I just received my first sewing machine this Christmas and want to do something great with it.  Hopefully I will have something to show soon.  I look forward to learning from the most creative bunch there is!
