1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Issues reading a pattern. on: August 26, 2010 07:34:09 AM
I've never been strong with patterns, but this one is giving me a head ache.  How would you translate this little fragment:

"dc in next tr in next-sk l dc on rnd 1"

So, what i figured, it is "double crochet in next (then, there should be a coma, i think) triple crochet in next and then skip (L? )  double crochet on round 1 (except it all is just a part of one round... so...)"

I am lost! Please help. I have been googling and searching through this website, but so far, no definitive answer.
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Wes Anderson 4 Swap? on: August 01, 2010 04:02:03 PM

I was wondering whether anyone would be interested in another round of Wes Anderson swap.
There are so many great movies to get inspired by for this.

Here are the gallery links from previous swaps.

Round 1: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=48737.msg448067;topicseen#msg448067

Round 2: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=236443.msg2623022;topicseen#msg2623022

Round 3: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=325521.msg3758501;topicseen#msg3758501

So, is anyone interested in participating?  In organizing?  I can organize, if no one more experienced volunteers ( I do want to see how that works Smiley ).
3  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hello Everyone! on: January 01, 2010 03:01:23 PM
Hello Crafty People!

After years of just looking at your great projects, I finally decided to sign up.  (Yes, it was the Princess Bride swap that gave me the last, necessary push.)  This looks like a very fun and creative community and I hope I can be a good addition to it.

Anyway, Hello and have a Happy New Year!
