1  Phone / MP3 pouch in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by E-mack on: July 22, 2010 10:01:40 AM
My daughter often does housework in her leggings, and needed something to keep her phone in so that she can listen to her MP3s whilst working.  So I made this up for her - thankfully she loves it !

I got the dimensions of her phone from the internet - and made it fully lined with a long strap so that it would be comfortable.

2  Skirt n Top in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by E-mack on: June 26, 2010 02:42:59 AM
Just managed to finish my skirt and top in time for my holidays !  I love tiered skirts and so kept the same overall 'look' to the top by ruching the straps.

The skirt is twill, so will be suitable for all seasons (just add a jumper for winter) the top is very light and because I left it so open at the bottom let in a lovely breeze to keep me cool.  These are the first things I've made for years, and I didn't feel embarrassed by the 'home made' look to them at all - in fact I was quite proud of myself.

3  Dress / Sunhat in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by E-mack on: April 03, 2010 02:00:20 AM
I made my first pillow case dress for my oldest grand-daughter.  Then I improved it for the baby and made a matching sunhat.  Only problem now - is that she's already growing out of it and I'm going to have to put in side panels and a ruffle !  (she's 5 months and growing every week - with another 10 weeks to go to their holiday)

This was my first try for my older grand-daughter (aged 3) - sorry its so blurred, took the photo with my phone.  I am intending to go back to it and modify it slightly as I learned lots while making the second dress !

4  Easter Baskets in Easter by E-mack on: March 31, 2010 02:18:45 PM
This is the first time I've put one of my photo's on the site - but I'm really proud of doing these baskets - and my grand-daughters love them.  I have 2 grand-daughters and one step-grandaughter.  So I made 3 felt baskets, but then individualised them so that they are basically the same - but different in some small way (the handles).  I added a rose one one, some rik-rak on another and some hand buttons on the last one. I'm a very proud granny today !!
