OMG, getting so excited!  In a little over a week we'll be partnered up!  I have so many ideas and have been making lists, reading the book (I second that "I'm the most gullible person in the world" feeling!!! My kids are still laughing at me!!!), I've watched the movie...now I just need to carve out some extra hours to work on everything.  I am hoping to personalize as much as possible too - so I'm waiting for my partner.

This is my first ever swap so...once we're matched do we ask further questions about what they like/are interested in?  I'm thinking favorite colors, lines & characters too, things along those lines.

REALLY enjoying planning and dreaming of all the great things I could do pertaining to PB.  Smiley  And looking forward to seeing everyone else's talents!  Smiley

Can't wait!!!
24  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Cotton Flannel Menstrual Pads on: January 07, 2010 01:17:50 PM
Oh...this I like!

How do the white/blue dots ones 'hold' the extra pad?

I have used the flannel for years now - and wouldn't go back!  I'm waiting to show my girls!

These are really adorable - and now I am going to have to try my hand at making some with this design.  I've tried the other design (storebought design -- making my own) and I still have to finish...and they aren't even worthy of a picture they are so horrible and ugly!

Good job!

YEAH!  I'm in too!!  Well...waiting for my one month membership deadline which will pass *just* in the nick of time!
I have to admit - I had sooo many ideas...and now I'm nervous about them!!  I am trying to keep a list of ideas and get as many of them done that I can before knowing my partner so that I can personalize them.
It sounds like I could pick up a few PB books and chances are my partner wouldn't have read it yet!!  Roll Eyes
I myself am going to have to read it as well - where will I find the time???
Soooo excited to join this though!
Happy Crafting!

This is perfect! I'm looking to make a scrap bag for the sewing machine area too - and I love the look of this!  I might put rice/sand in a bag and add it into the bottom to give it some weight... not sure where to find emory sand.  Sad  I think I want the weight more than the 'pin sharpening' component anyway.  Am I wrong though? My Grandma always said it was good to have them in the cushion with the emory sand... IDK.
