paper mache is the coolest craft ever.  there's so much you can do with it, and it's so cheap.  people have even made furniture.

i don't know how to make a light box, but maybe you could use christmas lights to light up the edges of the poster.  like, attach them behind the poster frame or something, so you don't actually see them but they shine through the edges?

cut em into triangular strips to make paper beads!!!  that's what i'm doing with my old magazines.  not sure what i'll use the beads for, though ... maybe a curtain or something

it looks like you must be a good artist too?  did you do it sort of freehand, or how ...?
