1  Washington / Washington: West / Seattle, WA: "Welcome Home" avant-garde cross stitch by S. Purdy at Assemble on: March 11, 2010 04:19:22 PM
This Friday, March 12th from 6-9pm, Canadian artist and cross-stitch maven, Samantha Purdy of the Pin Pals (pinpals.typepad.com), will be showing off her brand new collection of stitched fine art.

Welcome Home presents a glimpse inside the creative & cozy spaces we build around us. Each piece is designed and hand-stitched with the home in mind, along with the individuals who live there. From modern day samplers expressing the love of a dwelling, to small-stitched stories representing the quiet and not-so-quiet everyday activities. This series celebrates the indescribable feeling of creating surroundings that you can truly call your own.

Along with her artwork, Sam will be shipping out tons of The Pin Pals tiny puppets, buttons & jewelry with a variety of price points and a definite aww factor. These girls are an Assemble favorite and not one to miss.  Art will be up on the walls for the month of March. http://www.assembleshop.com
