Hi everyone! i'm new here but I've been sewing for a few years now. I've just bought myself a knitting book in the Borders UK closing down sale with the intentions of re-learning the skill (I used to knit in primary school when i was about 7 but haven't done anything since!) and this seems like the perfect kick up the backside to get me going.
For my 50 projects I would like to do/make:
1)
A quilt 14th January
2)
A skirt 11th January
3) An everyday dress
4) A formal dress
5) a knitted jumper
6) A crocheted blanket
7) Some toys for my friends baby (due in 5 weeks!)

Learn how to customise a dress pattern
9) Design my own dress pattern...
10)...then make it
11) Make some curtains
12) Make some organizers for my stash (bundled into crappy ikea cardboard boxes at the minute!)
13) Make my own fabric by learning how to screenprint (by BH has the equipment which he has only used once or twice!)
15) Make a new chair cushion for my Ikea Poang chair (it's cream and it shows up all the cat hairs - yuck)
16) Recon at least one item of clothing
17) Recon some old clothes using embroidery
18) complete a cross stitch
19) Make some cushions for my friend and her better half (I have an idea for this already!)
20) Knit/crochet some gloves
21)...and a hat
22) Make some christmas tree ornaments
23) Try one new recipe every week
24)
Bake using new and different ingredients Lavender cupcakes made 15th January, iced 16th.
25) Make some new cushion covers for the living room
26) make new chair cushions for the dining room
27)
Make a stuffed Dachshund for a friend (she loves them and can't have a dog of her own!) completed 15th January (completed before that but the fruit of my efforts was fairly dire!)
28) Make my BH a new Batman quilt.
29)
Make bunting for my friends baby shower (
completed! Will upload grainy pics later)30) Make something to sell!
31) Try sewing with stretch fabrics (my nightmare at the minute!)
32) Present for my mum
33) Housewarming present for my friend
34) make a new apron
35) Make a fancy dress costume
36) Fix all the clothes that are waiting to be fixed! (Mostly zip replacements on 2 dresses and a skirt)
37) Finish my sari dress
38) Make some reusable sandwich wrappers
39) Make a bicycle bag for my new bike (not yet used - do you know how cold it is out there?!)
40) Make some cat beds/toys (the latter is proving more important since the littlest one refuses to go outside and is destroying everything in sight, as well as tormenting the other cat)
41) Dye an item of clothing
42) Make some underwear
43) Make a fascinator
44) Make some Star wars plushies for my BH
45) Make a Valentine's gift for my BH
46) Make some nightdresses with hidden support (these things are so expensive! There has got to be a cheap way of making them)
47) Customise some bathroom towels
48) Make a proper, steel boned corset
49) Make some jewelry
50) Sew some patches on a bag for my BH
Some are smaller than others, here's hoping all are achievable!
