so, how should i glue the poster onto the table, then put a glass on top of it. i want the poster to be neatly glued.  Huh

4  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / stenciling on the comforter? on: August 17, 2006 11:33:59 AM
i'm moving six states away from my home for the first time in my life. so, i want to make all of the decorations by myself to save some money.

i have been looking for some tips on stenciling on the comforter, but i found only a link - a lousy one ( http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/dc_fabrics_tips_hints/article/0,1793,HGTV_3393_1391396,00.html ). i'm hoping if any of you have some good tips on choosing the paint, how to keep the painting from becoming stiff, and how to stencil on VERY puffy comforter. i can imagine how hard to stencil on something not flat and not to bleed the paint through the comforter. i cannot afford to replace the comforter if i messed up..

how should i keep the comforter flat really good for the stencilings?
should i mix textile medium with the acrylic paint for this project?
how should i dry/wash my comforter after stenciling?

 Huh
