I started to make this dress awhile ago and I tried to do it without a pattern. I like how It's come out so far but I'm not done with it yet, I plan on painting little black roses on the white and adding a small band of the fabric I used for the skirt to the top.

So I got a dressform for Christmas that just arrived a few days ago and an old shirt from a friend so I decided for my first project I would recon a shirt. I was originally going to turn this into a halter dress but didn't have quite enough fabric.

I forgot to take a before pic but it was your typical look of 'I stole-my-boyfriends-shirt' lol.










After I finished all the construction aside from the straps I decided to make them girly with lace and bows.
