1  Re: Medieval theme banquet dress? in Costumes: Discussion and Questions by thonosv on: April 24, 2010 09:05:11 PM
Thank you so much for all the advices! After I posted this I've been so busy that I didn't really do anything about the dress, but now I'm freeeee~ (yayyyy). So me and my host mom cut the last 3 pieces of fabric by the pattern this afternoon and then we're kinda figured out how to do the sleeve (I use the simplicity 2757 pattern so it's sleeveless). I like a bell sleeve though, Alexus, but I decided not to do it.

So I tried to draw this sleeve from the book and make it a little tighter on the top.

I use this book from school's library, it's pretty cool.

Alright, so here is what I did tonight., I don't attach them yet cus I can't find the trim! So I'll probably do it tomorrow or someday?

There's the mask I made two weeks ago, it's not finished because I'm thinking of make a new one. It's not really strong and smooth as it should be. Well, it's my first plaster mask I've ever made  Grin

So I spent about $25...ish for the fabrics and trim. I can't remember what kind of fabrics are they but they look really nice and it's in sale! lol. Pretty much everything that day on sale, lucky me  Wink. hehe. I got 11 days to the banquet right now! better hurry!!! Thank you again, Penlowe and Alexus1325  Cheesy
