We have an odd number of people doing this, right? What happens to the person who doesn't get paired up?

Thanks! I'm still kind of getting the feel for this site because I haven't been on forever. My dog is actually a little devil. He is getting old and grumpy  Cheesy

I have always wanted to make mini foods like these. They look delicious. I think the strawberries look great!

nastij - I can understand why you would lose them, they are kind of small. They are nicer than the plain plastic rings though.
beki710- I actually had made the rose charm a couple weeks before I made the rest. It fit with the theme so I attached it onto a ring and put it into the set. Also, thanks for clearing up my confusion about the hat number Smiley
Thanks everyone for the great comments!

I made one too, hopefully it's in my signature. I won't be able to see who my partner is until late Sunday/early Monday because I won't have internet access. More days to wait...

My Jack Russell's collar was getting ratty and threads were coming loose so I decided to sew him a new one. I partially used a tutorial off of Cut Out + Keep :http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/dog_collar_2
I took the plastic buckle, D-ring, and metal adjuster off his old collar and followed its design. The adjuster helped tremendously because I was a little off in guesstimating the right size.
Here is a picture. Sorry for the blurryness.

And an action shot! (Kind of)

I was asked to make two covers for ATV head lamps. Both have elastic rings to help keep them on the lamps. The outside was made of a camo canvas, the middle layer is foam, and the inside is a soft camo fleece to protect the lamps. Here are pictures:

The inside (you can see the fleece)

My sewing machine was a pain for both of these. On the dog collar, there are 4 different color threads because the bobbins ran out, got stuck, etc. But they are done now, and I am happy with them.

Hey everyone! I just joined.
My name is Cortney and I live in Boise, Idaho. I am 17, still in high school, but I love to craft when the mood hits me. I have a small Jack Russell Terrier named Rex who thinks he is about 10 times the size he really is (hence his name).

I love to craft everything. I think I hoard crafting supplies, so this will be a great opportunity to use them. I like making polymer clay trinkets and phone charms, sometimes with sea shells and beads that I have collected. I sew when my machine isn't acting up, and have a trunk of fabric waiting to be used. I sometimes knit and crochet, but they usually take me forever to finish. I also tie flies, but I don't flyfish myself. I prefer regular fishing.

I like to bake (and cook occasionally), and read fiction. I collect dragon figurines, along with other random things. My room I had when I was little (now my crafting room) is painted blue with fish and has sea shells and fake sea plants glued to the walls, which stemmed from my love for the ocean. My family and I drive to the Oregon coast every summer and we go crabbing and clamming there. I love animals in general, probably because I grew up camping and fishing. Frogs are especially neat, along with sea animals. I also like to hunt mushrooms (morels, corals, non-poisonus false morels) and take pictures of any that I find when I go camping.

Anyway, I'm excited to be in this swap, it sounds like a ton of fun!

Neat! I love the texture. It reminds me of red velvet cake. Yum.

Thanks, I'm glad you like them! I remember getting a knitting kit as a present and in it were two little plastic rings. I had no idea what to do with them, and I had to look up how to use them. I don't use stitch markers myself when I attempt to knit, but I thought it would be fun to make them.
