1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / New Jewelry Rack on: January 25, 2010 07:39:41 AM
I love jewelry. Immensely. However, I never seemed to be able to locate the pieces that I wanted at any given time. My necklaces always ended up on the floor, or in a bag...you get the idea.

Anyway, this is my solution to the problem. Jewelry boxes never seemed to accommodate my things, so I decide to come up with my own answer.

I made this using a key rack I purchased at Wal Mart. I spray painted it black, then decoupaged these wonderful pictures I scored from an old issue of Venus that I had. Several layers of sealant later, I spray painted the hooks pink and hot glued some pearls around it. I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.

I'd love to add a turquoise mini boa behind the pearls, but the gf thinks that would make it tacky...
