::waves shyly::

I have made about a million of these little bookmarks (okay a million is an exaggeration). If anyone wants a tutorial, let me know, but I figure you'll be able to work it out for yourselves once you've seen it Smiley

Also, hello everyone Smiley

ETA: Okay, my camera is freaking out on me, so I'm hoping verbal instructions will be enough for the moment

Step 1: Cut off a piece of 18-gauge wire from your spool, about 8 inches long.

Step 2: Using round-nosed pliers to start you off, wrap your wire around in a coil - you can make this as small as you want, but bigger than about 1.5 cms diameter isn't a good idea.

Step 3: From the coil, go up about 2-3 cms, then fold the wire at a 90 degree angle, around a pair of flat-nosed pliers to make an upside-down U shape.

Step 4: Go to the other end of the wire and curl up the end in the same manner as the second step. Leave at least 3-4 cms uncoiled, cut off excess wire before curling if it seems too long (but long can be good, too).

Step 5: Mark your page by sliding the long end between the pages, and hooking it over the spine (see second picture).
