Hubby took the package today, but didn't go to work, so it didn't get mailed yet.  Tongue

They are all just lovely!  I've tried doing that too, but the secret is to press them first...my flowers changed colors. Embarrassed

I'm sorry on the loss of your dog.  And I don't think it sounds creepy at all.  Good luck on this project, I'm sorry I don't have any ideas for you!
4206  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Big and Beautiful Plus Size Swap (Sign Up 5/11 - 5/20 Send Out 7/2) on: May 15, 2011 05:44:00 AM
I feel ya!  Undecided  I am 5'2" and was 230 lbs.  I ALWAYS find jeans that fit me around the waist, but the leg length would fit me and a giraffe!  Don't these companies realize that people come in all shapes and sizes??!!

A giggle for you...I had went to the tailor to get said pair of jeans shortened, when in walks a lovely long legged, tall lady who had to get her jeans lengthened!  I laughed and told her we should switch!  Grin

I think that our husbands understand that it's no use questioning us after awhile!  Grin Roll Eyes

No, I haven't ever kept anything I made for a swap for myself, b/c I figure I can always make another one-or if I like it THAT much, I make another one as I'm making the first-or that my swap partner will send me something even more incredible!  Kiss

Well...as seeing that my children have not listened to me AT ALL today, there will be consequences/punishment in their immediate future (i.e.-having to stay in their room, no TV, etc...) which=more crafting time for me!

I also commented somewhere on Craftster that one of the reasons I am so fast with my swap packages is that I craft the most and most quickly when I am stressed...more stress=more crafts=faster sendouts!  Tongue

It's my son's first prom...his second or third date with this girl...more -good- stress!  Roll Eyes

I've completed a set of ten of something-that I want to keep!  They came out so cute!  While doing a household chore, I also used up a product which left me with an empty container that I am going to clean out and make a "mini" matching item of something else that I just made.

Oy....I need a rest!  Grin

I am finished, and yes, I DO want to keep everything I made.

I also could have kept on crafting, and crafting, and crafting for this swap!  (And to think that to begin with, I was unsure if I even had the skills to craft something for this genre!)

My partner's package is wrapped up and ready to be sent.  Hubby said he will mail it out on Monday.  When he does, I will PM organizer and partner with DC#.

This was a fun swap...can't wait to see our gallery!
