I'm working on a new project for this swap, after finishing up something quick last night.  I'm having so much fun!  Cheesy

I finished a fun little item for my partner today and picked up some little store-bought goodies.

I just got the newest flyer from Joann's.  The sale that starts Dec. 30th has pocketbook handles on sale.

What I did when thinking about extras was think about items you use when it's cold outside (I'd give you a hint but then that would ruin my partner's surprises!).  Also, when shopping for the yarn I came across some things that I hadn't even thought of but were perfect!  Good luck!

Megzy's needle must've been smokin' hot between this gallery and the 'Spell My Name' one!  Grin

Thanks for compiling that list!

While at Target, I picked up a little something for this swap, something anyone can use.

Thanks for the compliment, kayrun!  Smiley
Holy guacamole!  Megzy was my partner for this swap, and she is talented, thoughtful, and generous!  I am unable to take and post photos, so I hope she does so soon, so everyone can she how amazing she really is.  Here's a description of what she sent:

B-A little, white metal tin with an orange and white damsak (sp?) print on the side, and a ton of BUTTONS inside!  (I love buttons!)
A-AWESOME ladybug embroidery!  You'll just have to wait for photos...difficult to explain, but different, well done, and beautiful!
R-A smooshy, big, beautiful fabrics ROLL for my crochet hooks, pens, whatever!  I LOVE IT!  Of course it is fabrics with either orange or cherry blossoms in them, b/c that is the kind of thoughtful partner Megzy is!
B-A well made ladybug BAG!  Light blue, with daisies and ladybugs!  (I love bags too!)
A-ANOTHER AWESOME embroidered item!  It says:  'Teaching is a gift of the heart' and the hoop is surrounded with orange ribbon!
R-A RED circular tin that made this non-squeeing woman squee when she opened it!  It's filled with whimsies (I love me some whimsies!)  Stamps, tons more buttons, oragami stars, and paper beads!
A-An AMAZING embroidery of what I had on my signature line here on Craftster:  "The time has come, the walrus said, to talk of many things, of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings."  I don't know why I like that quote so much, but I do!  Now I have enough hoops for a hoop wall!

AND, not only did Megzy send all that, she sent THREE gifts each for my girls, TWO for my son, and ONE for hubby!  Amazing, isn't she?HuhHuh??  THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Megzy!!!!!!!!!! Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss

Hee-hee!  Well let me drive you crazy some more, then...the finishing touch that I thought the object needed worked out wonderfully, and the item is really pretty.  Definitely something no one else has, as you stated in your questionnaire! Cheesy

Also, I JUST moments ago opened my swap package from the 'Spell My Name' swap, and my partner sent me LOADS of buttons and doo-dads...you may be a beneficiary of her generosity on one or some of your swap items for this swap! Grin
