I think I might send in my q for this one. The organizers are the best  Grin and I'm looking for a little swap to do, AND I'm running out of space to display my Craftster stuff, so a dotee is the perfect size!

I've been looking for a small swap to join and have had my eye on this one for awhile now. I would join another round or participate in an ongoing one.
24  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / SO Soft Fall Cowl! on: July 11, 2015 10:08:21 AM

I love picking and choosing colors to go together for a project!  And I love when the yarn is sooooo soft too!
25  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Upcycled Art on: July 09, 2015 01:53:10 PM

This canvas started out as a gift for one of my DDs.  As we were cleaning out their playroom, we came across the canvas, which was half painted.  I didn't want the canvas to go to waste so I kept it, and used white acrylic paint to try and cover over the paint that was already on there.  Surprisingly, the white paint covered hunter green paint, but not the sky blue paint.  Huh

I then used a real sponge I found washed up on the beach, and some acrylic paints and did some sponge painting!  I think it covered the blue parts that the white paint wouldn't cover well.

Then, I used some paper embellishments that I received from the generous kbrison and modpodged them onto the canvas, and the rest of the canvas as well.  When that was all dry, I used acrylic clearcoat spray on the painting.

What do you think?
