1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Dinosaur hat- New picture! on: January 12, 2010 02:07:28 PM
I was taking requests for hats at a local anime convention this weekend and this was one of the customs! It was really fun to do.  Grin

**NEW!

The green one has claws and little pockets at the end of the ear flap thingies. Smiley It was a bit more challenging, but I'm happy with the outcome!
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Chomp hat! on: December 23, 2009 07:53:13 PM
CHAIN CHOMP! This hat makes me incredibly happy for some reason. XD It's my second hat I've ever made, so I'm pretty proud of it. :]

I'm going to be sharing a booth with a friend at a local anime convention and am thinking about selling these kind of hats. How much do you think I should sell them for?
3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Guitar on: December 17, 2009 04:36:45 PM
I just started sewing so for Christmas this year, I'm making all my presents for people! I'm really proud of this one, though, because I made the whole thing without a pattern and I think it came out really cool!

From left to right, the first image is a close-up obviously. I used grommets/eyelets to kind of "attach" the strings(elastic beading cord) to the bridge and head. Second image is a full shot, strategically placed next to a yard stick. Wink Third is a three-quarter turn shot so you can kind of see the dimensions.. Fourth is the underside of the front before it was sewn all together, so you can see the zig-zag stitching(which I used a lot on the front to add some artistic what-not to the whole thing) since it came out kind of blurry in the fifth picture.

I'd love some constructive criticism! Not too harsh, though, please. D:

Also, how do you get the image icon thumbnail thingy to show in the thread forum?
