Sorry I have been scarce-in the middle of changing internet providers, so the only time I get a chance to get online right now is at work. BUT! I'm done and sending on my weekend, which will be Thursday or Friday!!!! I have gone on a dishcloth making frenzy lately-the Craft Warehouse by where I work is closing, so Im getting Sugar n Cream at 40% off! Everyone I know will be getting some, lol. Once the discount drops more, Im going to get some of the fancy schmancy spendy yarns I typically just lust over!

I am so stoked, and my partner and I (based on surveys) seem to be a good match for each other!

Silly me, been back in town since December, and just now thought to check these boards out...wondering what parts of the city everyone is in, so I know whos who when it comes to meetups and such? I live on the eastside, near Gresham, but work out towards Nike, in Beaverton, so I'm all over the place  Grin

I was wondering if anyone had any good face pads/make up remover pad patterns. I hate to keep using cotton balls and my step mom gets angry when I use our face cloths because my eyeliner and mascara stains them.

Thanks guys and I can't wait to start!

I've made tons with the scrap ends of my cotton yarns. I've done two rounds of dc. 6 in the magic circle and 2 in each for the second round. It makes about and inch and a half circle. I have 2 jars in the bathroom cabinet, one for clean and one for dirty. Throw them in a mesh bag and off in the wash they go.

OMG thats brilliant! Im going to have to steal this idea-would save me soooo much money on makeup remover pads. My Urban Decay Primer Potion works so well that a regular cloth and hot water doesnt work like it usually does, so I spend a fortune on either cotton balls or makeup remover pads, but this is genius!

Crochet Pattern Central and Knitting Pattern Central are my go-to resources for patterns, they have a great selection of dishcloth patterns. And as for what I use mine for, I use them for dishes and cleaning some, but discovered they also make great hotpads for my counter, and the thicker ones can be used as potholders as well. Im so stoked, these are great projects for me to take to work and do at my desk when its slow (I work in a call center)! Cant wait for partners!
