Do all the students celebrate christmas? because the whole project idea could make them feel left out if the dont...
other wise i was thinking maybe they could write christmas letters to family members like how much they appreciate them and then you could put them in the liners find a way to seal the top...i was going to say-they could write wish lists for santa but that might be to materialistic for school...
you could flatten them out and glue them to paper and do a collage...the liners could be more of a background and then the children can collage photos or drawings or something
its a bar and you push it to the side with your knee...it is built into a table but i dont know if its industrial...its called zigzag something or other I can't get the person to show me because it was just in his house, he doesn't sew...i will try to get someone in person to show me how i guess! thanks so much!
I recently got a sewing machine that someone was going to throw out...its pretty old ----but it does work! When i plug it in and hit the metal bar with my knee the needle does go up and down BUT it doesnt catch the thread in the fabric. It just makes little pokey holes in the fabric...is that clear? I threaded the needle and all but i dont know if i did it correctly.
A woman I ran into at a thrift store said it might be the bobbin underneath the table part...i took that out and fiddle around with it to no avail.
Does anyone have a simple solution? Should I just take it to a repair shop or something and ask someone to help me?!
i just want to say, if you ever use one of those sponge paint brushes make sure it is DRY from the time you washed it 10 mins earlier or it will sponge water all over the ink and bleed the design you worked forever on - ruining the zip up hoodied too!
