1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Airbrushed Fabric...What to do? on: May 19, 2011 11:18:28 AM
I painted this patch of fabric back with I was a craftperson/painter/dyer in a costume shop. It's 100% silk crushed panne that's been bonded with interface to hold it's shape. Then I airbrushed using Jaquard transparent fabric paints, layering up my colors like I was working with watercolors, then heat set the whole thing. I've just never washed it and I'm terrified that if the thing hits water all that work is gonna so out the window.  Finished dimensions of the image is about 12 x 14 inches.

???So knowing all that, what do all you wonderful crafty people think I should do with it? Tote? Pillow? Quilt? Frame it and use it as art? Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Huh

Thanks!

ShannaMarie
