lets see how quick the US to UK postage is this time.

Last time I posted US -> UK I mailed 2 packages on the same day and they arrived a week apart!

My attempt at sewing:
FRONT

Review:
a simple pattern, might take a bit of work to get the pieces together accurately.


Adaptations:
I added a larger seam allowance to the pattern pieces
I waited until I had all of the skirt together before hemming
I doubled the width of the waistband so I could turn it over.


*** I will come back and review it for fit once I receive my doll, and add more pictures of her wearing the skirt***

Review:
much easier to understand pattern than it initially looks, a little tricky on the collar but nothing that a bit of patience wont solve

Adaptations:
Maybe fold the facings at a slightly differnt angle so you get more of a wing tip for the collar.
I would also add mini buttons to the front just for looks

I am so impressed, lining doll's clothes!

it actually makes it easier than trying to turn in and hem very small necklines and arm holes

I was contemplating making it again, but cutting the fabric so that the sides are attached to the back and the the straps could be folded over the shoulders and sewn/snapped in place so they look like dungarees straps?
I can't really explain it too well so I'll try it out and post some pics
