I have also made the Tulip skirt from xoxoBlythe
http://www.xoxoblythe.com/wp/free-patterns/

and here's my review

14  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Blythe tulip skirt made with xoxo Blythe pattern on: July 14, 2011 11:37:50 AM
Clothing Item: tulip skirt
Pattern from: http://www.xoxoblythe.com/wp/free-patterns/

My attempt at sewing:
FRONT

BACK

Review:
a simple pattern, might take a bit of work to get the pieces together accurately.

Adaptations:
I added a larger seam allowance to the pattern pieces
I waited until I had all of the skirt together before hemming
I doubled the width of the waistband so I could turn it over.

*** I will come back and review it for fit once I receive my doll, and add more pictures of her wearing the skirt***

I want to get some tiny little buttons to put down the front of the shirt Smiley

Today I made the collared shirt from puchicollective

here's my review

17  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Blythe collared shirt using puchicollective pattern on: July 14, 2011 10:21:28 AM
Clothing Item: collared shirt
Pattern from: http://www.puchicollective.com/sewing-patterns/blythe-collared-shirt/

My attempt at sewing:
FRONT

WORN WITH A-LINE JUMPER DRESS

Review:
much easier to understand pattern than it initially looks, a little tricky on the collar but nothing that a bit of patience wont solve

Adaptations:
Maybe fold the facings at a slightly differnt angle so you get more of a wing tip for the collar.
I would also add mini buttons to the front just for looks

*** I will come back and review it for fit once I receive my doll, and add more pictures of her wearing the dress***
18  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / doll clothing zippers on: July 14, 2011 10:17:49 AM
Does anyone know where I can buy very short (like 3-4") separating end zippers to make hoodies for a doll?

thanks in advance

I am so impressed, lining doll's clothes!

it actually makes it easier than trying to turn in and hem very small necklines and arm holes

thanks Smiley

I was contemplating making it again, but cutting the fabric so that the sides are attached to the back and the the straps could be folded over the shoulders and sewn/snapped in place so they look like dungarees straps?
I can't really explain it too well so I'll try it out and post some pics
