1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Glue for fabric hair clips on: March 07, 2011 08:52:32 AM
Thanks! I tried some E6000 but it didn't set up correctly. Perhaps I need to clamp it and let it sit for a few hours.
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Glue for fabric hair clips on: February 23, 2011 03:13:51 PM
Hi! I recently starting making hair clips adorned with hand-embroidered medallions. I'm having a little trouble with gluing them to a clip confidently. I have Fabri-tac, which is great with fabric and seems to be working okay so far, but I recently sold some of my products to a store, so I want to be positive that they are stuck on for the long haul.
Example of my work:
Can you recommend a glue that will permanently adhere fabric (I'm currently using felt) to metal? It needs to be as clean as possible, since these are being sold and need to look professional. I've used hot glue in the past, but it's so stringy and it ends up looking really crappy from the back.
