1  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: When good food goes bad (and how do I tell?) on: May 30, 2006 10:28:20 PM
The rice thing is scary. My father works in the food industry, and he has told me some horror stories. Rice after three days is bad; it begins to smell funny and gives you a stomach ache. I generally will not eat rice that has been cooked over 24 hours ago, but thats me.
The bug you can get from rice is *much* worse. They actually use the term "explosive dirrhea" to describe the severity of the symptoms. Its a type of bug that makes you very sick and can cause you to dehydrate. It has something to do with the temperature of the food. You can get the same thing from prepared rice in a steamer at a buffet if it gets too cool as well.
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Gothic Lolita Dress: Straps or no straps? on: February 04, 2006 06:49:43 PM
::drools:: I absolutely LOVE this dress. It is amazing! As far as straps/no straps, I'd suggest the same as many people have said here and go with detachable straps, so if you feel like wearing it with straps you can and if you feel like going without you can as well. Plus, I am very indecisive  Lips sealed
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Eduardo onesie on: February 04, 2006 06:35:14 PM

5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Now my school has a Quidditch team! on: January 13, 2006 05:46:41 PM
Oh...my God. I need that. I would wear a Quidditch hoodie every day, along with my anime shirts. Yeah, that sentence just qualified me for dorkdom for life.

Hehe... I just posted pictures of persocon ear earmuffs I made, so we're in the same boat.
6  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Re: Stop showing me those new replies, Mr. New Replies Page. on: January 13, 2006 10:55:28 AM
I noticed just as I made a post 30 seconds ago that if you go to "Additional options" under the text box there is a checkbox for replies, so if you do not click on "notify me of replies" it may do something, but I'm not too too sure if thats whatt it does.
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: A stool that looks like PANCAKES?!?! what? on: January 13, 2006 10:52:46 AM

8  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / Wee! I'm a persocon! on: January 13, 2006 10:50:58 AM
Yea, so I am enamoured with the show Chobits. The show is adorable and funny and I love the ears that the persocons have so with about an hour, some stuffing and a pair of wrap-around earmuffs, I became one.

Seriously, the hardest part of this project was finding earmuffs. Apparently they do not exist in Long Island, had to buy them on a trip home.

Don't mind the really bad pic or the look on my face... using a self timer and a bathroom mirror is not a good way to take a picture

The ears are precisely even and identical, but for some reason they don't look like that on my head.

Best part of all, if its cold and I wish to be human again, I just slip the ears off. Imagine the top of mittens with ears on them... thats how it slips ontot he earmuff.

Thanks for looking!  ^_^ Chiiii!

10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Margaret Sanger, and...a hooker? on: January 13, 2006 06:03:45 AM
The shirts look amazingly professional! they really do, great work! I love my birth control too. yay for Margaret Sanger!
(altho I just found out in my Women's Studies class that late in her career she advocated for the sterilization for the poor and minorities which makes me very sad)

Stencily Awesomeness. Cheesy
