Ive been crafting away. I have one package completed but not photographed or packed up so i wont be sending till mon.  Kind of worried about how to packnthe one item its very long and it could be bet but i dont want to.  So im hoping to figure out this weekend.   Finnished another item for the other package loving and going to have to make a duplicate for myself.  Having no luck with the other item going to have change to the back up plan. Its still going to be great just not what i first pictured.  I dont think ive ever crafted so much for one swap and loved every minute. Even the failures lead to better ideas. Cant wait for the gallery. Im off to make cakes

So came up with a great idea.  Tried once failed tried again turned out ok , but not up to swapping standards for me. So we are going for a third time tonight.  Keeping my fingers crossed cause i want to do a set.  Also i have supplies on there way for another project in the works.  And I'm definitely having star wars marathon tomorrow.

749  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Hunger Games Mockingjay pin on: March 26, 2012 10:59:32 AM
Did you use a stamp to make it? It looks so detailed! Did you use dust (ok I dont't know if its called dust or powder but you brush it on.....I think Huh) to make it look aged? It really is fantastic! Great job!

I dint use a stamp i just looked at a image online.  I used a gold acrylic to paint it and then thinned down black paint so it would stick in all the cracks and wiped off the extra.  Then i used metalic creams that i bought at the craft store and rubbed them on and then sealed it.  It was so worth the steps in order to get the look
