1021  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: OTHPT2 Gallery on: March 23, 2011 07:07:24 AM
I'm so glad everyone likes my tree.  The sweaters are just what it needed.  I thought it would be a good idea to mention that sdelnegro514 and I were talking about doing a HP Christmas ornament swap closer to the holiday.  I think it would be fun I'm going to start a topic in the swap ideas closer to the time but I wanted to mention it now just to see if there is any interest.

I'm done.  I'm going to get it boxed up and sent out today.  Whoo hoo
1023  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Ohio State wall art on: March 22, 2011 03:06:37 PM
I have a new nephew today!  So I finished a shelf and a painting for his room.
I did a 8x10 jersey painting of basketball and football jerseys with his birthdate as the numbers of the jerseys.

My Dad built the shelf and then I painted his name and two sports balls and Brutus on the shelf.

I can't wait till they bring him home and I can add it to the room where I all ready painted the Ohio state logo on the wall.  It will be a great room for a future little athlete to grow up in.

I just received and posted pictures of my awesome package from sdelnegro514.  You'll have to check it out in the gallery.  She did a fantastic job and made something perfect for me.

I am so lucky.  I received my package from sdelnegro514 this afternoon.

And it was from the Burrow!  Molly sent me a letter...

Inside were 4 tiny Christmas sweaters for my Harry Potter Christmas tree.

They are so perfect I had to run downstairs and set up a action shot.  I used a smaller tree but you get the idea .

I have many Christmas trees every year but this one is one a the favorites.  These 4 little sweaters are going to be a fantastic addition to my tree.  I plan to use the package on the tree as well.  This has been a great swap and I had the perfect partner.
;DThank You so much Shannon. Grin

I'm reading the series in backwards order for the third time XP Breaking Dawn is my favorite book because so much happens!! I can't get over it!!!  Cheesy But I think I dislike the first Twilight book. No matter how many times I read it I'm like "Ehhhhh....." I'm glad I watched the movie first, which was better. The writing style wasn't as put together in the first book as with the rest. It bugs me >.<

*Sigh* Everyone but me is so busy that no one comments in the threads anymore, lol. Guess I should actually do some crafting eh?  Roll Eyes

I completely agree.  My mother and I were talked into reading the series by my sister.  She liked them so well but neither one of us could get into them till the third book.  But the fourth is what did it for us. We were hooked, but I really read the third one the most.  Its on my ipod so I have it with me anytime I need a twilight fix.
I can't wait til partners.  I've been filling pages in my craft journal with ideas for every option.  This is going to be fun.

I've got a couple of things started for Averia, they are actually pieces of a set. Going to start on something for chughes225 here in a few minutes.  Smiley

Pieces of a set? for me? Whoo hoo!

I have a tentative plan worked out (and coordinated with cbhughes225). I think everyone ought to get to do a theme swap where 2 people partner with 2 other people. I love having someone I can turn to in order to discuss ideas. I'm starting work on the biggie first - do not want to be rushed for time on this piece.

I agree I'm loving this swap more than the others because I have someone to talk with and work things out.  Its making things move more smoothly.  I have one completely done, two almost done, and the other barely started, I hoping to be done and sent by mid week.

Things are going well so far.  I've got one completely done, clear coat is drying now.  Ive got another in pieces.  And then a bunch on paper that I'm still trying to work out.  Ive never realized how focused you can get when its all flowing.  One minute I was finishing dinner the next thing I knew I had to put the kids to bed.  Isn't crafting great.
