The flap that I've knitted turned out weird, so I gave the flap a miss.  I sewed on a button instead... It's not pictured here, as I only did it after I took this photo.  I also made some adjustments to the decreasing part, as I didn't quite understand the pattern, so I made my own adjustments.



This  cozy turned out so cute that I couldn't resist making another one.  I made him a girlfriend...


This time, I improvised my own pattern, cos I just hate working on DPN.  I made some eyelets to create a drawstring cozy.  Also, I made the opening to be at the bottom this time.

I just love the color so much.  The yarn is a wool/mohair blend.  Actually, I think it would make a very cool hot water bottle cozy.

This is the yarn that I use.  Panda Myth.


The yarn is too thin to be used to dew up the edges.  I had to dig into my stash to find a nearer match.

I had wanted to make snowflakes last year, but couldn't crochet, and there weren't much choices in knitted ones.  This year, I've learnt how to crochet.  Now I can make loads of them!

I'm amazed about how easy it is to crochet these.  This really boost my confidence and now I want to try out other patterns too!

The choker and belt pattern is adapted from this book call "Country crochet & knitted lace : a creative guide with projects for crochet and knitted lace" that I borrowed from the library.
