3  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / looking for a sleeping bag pattern on: July 11, 2011 05:02:22 AM
Hello
so I was at the dentist office the other day reading their out of date magazines and in the letters to the editor section of an old good housekeeping magazine (2007 maybe?) there were pictures of sleeping bags people had made. these little sleeping bags were for kids and were animal characters. I have been searching the net for a pattern and keep coming up empty. I have found a few ideas that I should be able to piece together to make this item but if anyone has an actual pattern that would be awesome. Or if you have made this yourself can you please send me a pick so I can use it as a guide as my memory of what a finished product should look like is getting fuzzy. I'm sure i can figure this out as it's a simple concept of a quilted bag with a animal shapped pillow head and paws and a tail sewn on, but I'm a beginner and I like to have a reference to go by.
thanks in advance
Steph
