Your socks are awesome!  Do you think this pattern is easy enough for someone who hasn't had their sock cherry popped yet?

Thanks for all your help and suggestions everyone!

I found the pattern though!

You can buy it for 6 dollars at elann.com and the money goes to Afghans for Afghans.

It's sized for children, but can probably be modified to fit adult feet.

It was totally random that I found it.  I was looking at a free pattern link to a lace sweater from elann.com and I clicked on the Patterns button thinking it was the link to more free patterns and there were the slippers on the first page.

I can't wait to knit these after my exams are done!

I used to own a pair of slippers like the ones the model is wearing when I was young and I always thought they were really cool.

Does anyone know what they're called?  Aritzia calls them nomadic slippers and I googled it and nothing came up.

I want to find a knitting pattern for these, so if you've seen a pattern out there for these please let m know.

Thanks for reading!
8  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Anyone want to make Knitty's Broadstreet Mittens with me? on: November 22, 2005 09:40:02 AM
I just casted on for this last night and did ten rows of ribbing.  Can't wait to get these done since it's getting really chilly in Toronto.
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Baby Sweater: Is it too girly? on: November 16, 2005 08:44:52 PM
I just finished this baby sweater for a coworker of mine who's due in a month.

She doesn't know the sex of the baby yet, but is hoping for a girl.

I really liked this pattern so I made it for her, but now I'm wondering if it's too girly if she ends up having a boy.  What do you think?

The first picture is the most accurate representation of the colour, pale pastel lilac.

The pink elephant doesn't do the sweater justice in my opinion.

Thanks for looking!
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help me understand this cable pattern pretty pretty please! on: November 13, 2005 06:15:32 PM
Geez, I'm such a dork!  Why didn't I think of that!  Thanks loisgriffinwannabe.

I'm still a bit confused though.  Can anyone clear up the Back Cross (3 sts) for me?
