I have magnetic tape. It is sticky at one side and magnetic at the other. Really good for making flat magnets

Today I came home and there were THREE!!! little envelopes on my doormat!  Grin

I actually danced when I came in Wink

I've got this drawn peacock card from Corduroy Cat, the title is "Don't judge me"  Cheesy

I think you have used coloured pencils, acrylic paints and felttips in it? I really like the colours Cheesy

Then I opened Terrabella's envelope which contained this beautiful butterfly card

I like that it has many layers and the subtle stamps. That butterfly picture is fantastic too, and the antenae are made of a waxed cord (the kind you use as a necklace). I will defintly try that layering technique, it looks so lovely!

Then I have this fun and colourful skeleton key card from Gossamer Gull

The keys are painted (?) beautifully, two toned. That must be a lot of precision work! I love it!

Thanks all of you. These are the first cards I received and I love them all.

I have some papercraft stash from long ago. But I really collect a lot the last few months.

How do you store your stash? Mine is all stuffed away in boxes, quite difficult to search for that small picture I have somewhere that would be sooo perfect Lips sealed. I might try to superorganize it in big binders on colour or theme.... I like this idea, but it is not very likely I will have the disiclpine to keep organizing it Embarrassed

How long does t 5takes you to make an atc? and what is your process?

I tend do do it very organic. Usually I have some idea what to do, but I do not have a very clear design in my head. And when I do, I am prone to changing it Cheesy. Cheesy Sometimes I am just messing about with techniques and I can use it for one of the themes.

So I might have painted cards or background paper. I use images from my stock and stick them on for the background. Or I search on google pictures or deviantart or clipart sites for pictures.
Then, another day, I might draw/paint myself, original or based on a pic I 've found online. Cut out lots of stuff.
Stick them on. Let dry overnight.
Embellish with gelpens, fabrics, embroidery, more paints, glitter, sequins and what have you... i really should  get some distressing ink pads....

Then I tried to seal them with a spay sealer... that did not work out so well, so I'll skip that part for now.

the process of going through my PM's for writing all the envelopes and putting the name to the username takes quite a while too Grin I have now an "organized list" on my laptop. Hopes it helps.

All in all, I think i am a slow crafter but enjoy playing with the stuff. Some cards take me only half an hour, some way way longer but I am not sure how much "effective" crafting time is involved.

Do you decorate the back of the card? I can't chek, because I haven't received any yet Roll Eyes  I've put some scrapbookpaper or painted paper over them and write  the title, my name and the swaps name on it. What do you do?
