1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Show off your hair! And questions about hair styles! on: February 08, 2007 04:53:42 PM
I just saw Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, and I was so inspired by Clementine's blue color.  I would love to do something of the relatively same shade.

Buuut, I work at Egg Harbor Cafe.  Which as the name suggests serves breakfast/brunch/lunch, so it tends to attract the elderly.  They might not be so keen on seeing a blue-headed freak seating them down to their meal.

Any ideas?  I'd love the color, but I don't know if I could do it and keep my job/pull it off.

I'm kind of interested in cutting my hair.  I've TRIMMED it, but that's about it.  I'm only armed with a pair of feathering scissors.  Will I need somethings other than that?  I really don't want to be spending loads on scissors; I've seen the prices on some of 'em.  Also, any ideas on how to do a good job on the back?  It might sound dumb, but I can scarecly use a flat iron on the back, let alone take a scissors to it.

The hair now-ish. These pictures are a few months old, but it's the general look. I initially wanted my hair shoulder-length, and somehow it wound up skimming my jaw line. I got the hair cut for free after much whining and such. Conidering it became a chin-length bob when I asked for a shoulder-lenth A-line, I think I deserved a hair cut free of charge.

Buuut, I've come to terms with it now, especially after dying it to a richer brown.

And now I'm looking for a new hairstyle, since it's sort of grown out and plain. Not bad, just plain.

(Green shirt) It's up, by the way.
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: plastic pendants on: November 05, 2006 05:28:14 PM
Well, one of my friends managed to use shrinky dinks quite well. But she did say she had a problem with them curling.

See?

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Warhol Swap. on: July 04, 2006 10:23:10 PM
Now this probably has already been done at one time or another, but it would be so awesome to get a Warhol-based swap going.  Not just on his paintings, but it could be based on his movies, some of the models he worked with, etc.

How about it?   Cheesy

Mhmm, that sounds good!
But in advance- I may possibly need a little extra time given the school factor. School comes first, heh.
